1. TALCB is required to audit the work of appraisers applying for certification. This includes the examination of at least two appraisal reports for general compliance with USPAP.
  2. ​​The audit process can take weeks under good circumstances, and months under bad (such as when the TALCB asks for more support for opinions and conclusions in the audited appraisal reports; or, asks for more appraisal reports).

Certification Audit





FEE

The fee is $125/hr with minimum 2-hour retainer ($250). In most instances, the appraisal report and workfile can be reviewed in

1 hour. The remaining time is spent going over the work with you in an online meeting.
